I drove from Green Bay, through the UP, down and into Sarnia, and back to Niagara. The UP is very nice: Softwood forest, lakes, cute little towns. petrol is still that high up there? it's about 1.60-1.70 U$/gal.. ouch.. maybe it will retract a bit more by next august.
