Welcome to the club! Unfortunately the rotted radiator support is a common issue on the 1st gen's, but it's a fairly easy repair if you have the right equipment. Agreed, many people wouldn't be able to go the route I did, as we made it work with some steel bar and welding, but correct not too tough...
