Re: Front Locker $299 (2nd gen X)
Discount code still works, cost me $299 USD
They are back ordered at the moment so they told me it won't ship for a week from now.

Re: Front Locker $299 (2nd gen X)
These are also available for first gen Xterras - I read several reviews of people driving in winter and everyone speaks well of them. They are not a typical mechanical locker - the wheels can independently turn faster without locking, but won't stop driving. Sort of the reverse of a detroit locker (...

I don't recall where I got my spacers, but they are identical to these:

Re: 2" Body Lift weekend?
Everything went well, huge thanks to Luke, Alex and Mike for all your help! We only broke one body mount bolt, so the two and a half cans of PB Blaster I sprayed on the bolts over the past weeks seemed have to really help. Time to do body lift: Saturday Jan. 4 - 2 hours: general inspection, remove s...

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
I've been told keep an eye on it, but it shouldn't be a problem on a 2003 Xterra.

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Getting ready for body lift next weekend - removed skid plates, door sill trim, oiled body mounting nuts again, removed lower rad shroud, removed annoying white caps from above nut-heads inside truck, fixed heater in garage, etc.

Re: 2" Body Lift weekend?
I've heard it's a good idea to re[place both the top and bottom rad hoses with longer ones. Does anyone know the part number for the correct longer hoses and where I can order them? I saw one example on a US Xterra forum where they purchased longer hoses that had the correct bends and diameter, but ...

Re: 2" Body Lift weekend?
Looks like January 11 in Cambridge. A friend is loaning me his garage for the weekend - it's not too well equipped, but should be good enough. No hoist, but it does have a furnace, so we'll have heat. I'm planning to put the truck in his garage Friday night with the heat on, so it can thaw out overn...

Re: 2" Body Lift weekend?
I'm getting excited! I'll finally be able to mount 32's! What else do I need to prepare? Does anyone have a garage? I have access to two, one in Cambridge that is is unheated, the other is in a garage club in St George, they are a little fussy to deal with, but they have every tool imaginable. Those...

2" Body Lift weekend?
Anyone interested in getting together to help me do a 2" body lift on my 2003 Xterra?
I am thinking of doing it either January 4 or 11, 2014.
I think I have everything I need, but what I really need is someone who has done this before to help me!!!!!

Xterra Oil Pan Replacement
I've tried patching and that isn't cutting it - Any advice on replacing an oil pan on a 2003 xterra - 4x4?
Seems I need to drop the front diff, and lift the engine. More than I feel comfortable doing myself.
Any mechanics out there (BigBird?) wanna do it for a case of beer (OK maybe 5 cases )

I Need a Mechanic!!
Can anyone out there recommend a good mechanic for my 2003 Xterra? I need to replace the timing belt and a few other fussy things, so I want someone who has experience with Xterras. Someone who will use aftermarket parts? I live in Cambridge, but would be willing to drive a while for someone who kno...
