Re: Truck Being Traded In-If You Want Something Let Me Know
Thanks to the guys who picked stuff up this weekend. I appreciate you acting on the short notice. I've removed everything that is gone or is no longer available, the truck is going in tonight and I turned the last wrench on it yesterday pulling the hitch. Real mixed emotions when I realised I was do...

Re: Truck Being Traded In-If You Want Something Let Me Know
I changed my asking price for the back-rack to $100 in the interest of getting it sold. I realised last night that $150 is probably aiming waaaay too high.
It may not be super pretty, but it's awesome utility wise.

Re: Truck Being Traded In-If You Want Something Let Me Know
Thanks, I won't need the recovery receiver or light adapter (I have a 4-pin plug on mine), you can sell that to someone that will use it. If the ball is 1 7/8" I will take that too as it's the size for my boat and utility trailer. I will give you 40 bucks for it. I can come on sunday and help ...

Re: Truck Being Traded In-If You Want Something Let Me Know
how much effort is required to separate the hitch from the truck? I bent my bumper hitch "coaxing" an old cedar tree out of my front yard. I took a quick look today and I don't believe it would be too bad at all. It seems to be 6 to 10 bolts in total, depending if all of them are in the h...

Re: Truck Being Traded In-If You Want Something Let Me Know
I couldn't attach this photo in a PM so I'm putting it here. It's what I had to do to get the boost gauge and scangauge to fit in the dash the way I did. The dash structure behind the trim panel needs to be modified to fit the boost gauge. I had to cut out the centre brace. I have had no issues in 2...

Re: Truck Being Traded In-If You Want Something Let Me Know
The trailer is a 4'x8' model. If you're picky and I'm honest it could use another coat of paint to freshen it up. Although I have cleaned it and painted it once since I bought it and that has kept it in very good shape compared to some other's that I've seen. It's not rotting out. A pressure washer,...

Re: Turck Being Traded In-If You Want Something Let Me Know
I can't find the photo on my phone so not on hand. It is the Delta "Stableloader" http://deltacycle.com/stableloader-bike-mount I do not have the centre brace as shown on that site... never had it. But if you think you will need it you can make your own with some threaded rod. It comes wit...

Truck Being Traded In-If You Want Something Let Me Know ASAP
It is with great displeasure and slight regret that (if everything goes as promised) my truck and I will be parting ways permanently. It was a bit of a roller coaster ride in the beginning when I first got it but with a bunch of help from the forum and Mike @ Milton Nissan the truck has not been a d...

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Any one know of a shop around Guelph to balance my drive shaft? I had these guys service my driveshaft. http://www.deltatruckequipment.com/ It took a while for me to figure out what my vibration was but when I did I went to these guys. They straightened it, balanced it and replaced the u-joints. It...

Re: 2002 x sc problems. Yes still.....
As others have said get the timing checked. Scan the computer to see if there's a code stored. The knock sensor won't trip the light but it will limit boost if it's active. Something else is going on to be tripping the light that may or may not be causing driveability issues. We need to know what th...

Re: Favourite tools for the garage
Haha, you are totally right. I was eyeing these guys for a while but couldn't justify the $200 price tag. Home depot dropped them to $99 recently and I was all over it. It replaced my full stereo in the garage, saving a tonne of space. I love the portability, ability to charge your phone, and espec...

Re: Favourite tools for the garage
In all honesty this is my favourite tool http://www.homedepot.ca/wcsstore/HomeDepotCanada/images/catalog/15744.2790-20_1_Final_4.jpg It goes with my everywhere and it plays along no matter what I'm working on. It's tough as hell, can work on 120v or battery, and has a 12v out charging port if you ne...

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
New fog light bulb and another tranny drain and fill with oil change. Change in weather brought back the funny acting transmission. Me thinks I'm on borrowed time... I think I had actually overfilled a bit last time. This time I was very (even more so) careful with the level, and figured I couldn't ...

Not sure if it helps at all, but here's my spindle cleaned up and naked from when I did my bearings on the driver's side. I agree that it looks like your race is stuck on there and if you can get it off cleanly you should be ok. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e197/studum/Fronty/IMG_5126.jpg Would...

Re: Drive Clean now moves to OBDII testing: Watchout..
This has been my experience as well. It behaved this way when I was diagnosing and replacing my 02 sensor last year. Even though I only had one code when I erased it with my scanner it completed reset the computer and all of the "monitors" were reset as well. My cheap little scanner can te...

Someone mirror the stop sign, then replace the wrench in his hand with the stop sign. Unfortunately I have no idea how to modify pictures aside from crop and resize.

What front hubs are you running? Have you verified that they're operating (engaging / disengaging) correctly?
