Re: driverside window

Can anyone confirm if I can take the window motor out from any of the other doors? Are they all the same, as well, what other year X would work on the 06X. I can find parts from older Xs but I have no idea if they work or fit mine.
Thanks.

driverside window

need a driver side window motor for an 06X.. at least thats what the dealer said. window works intermittent but a good smack on the door handle gets it working again. it struggles. anyone with a parts truck? or a better option than OEM.

New brakes all around

Curious what Nissan dealers charge for a full brake job on a 06 X? New rotors vs redoing the current ones?

Re: low rpm on startup

Thanks everyone for your input. It seems when my truck was serviced a few weeks ago, the air filter was changed. Turns out the tech forgot to take all the plastic wrap off the filter, which caused an air flow problem. All good and runs like a charm. See ya all in the pit. :)

Re: low rpm on startup

Thanks Bow_Tied. Just spoke to another X owner to see if ever had a similar issue, and he did. He thinks it could be a really dirty MAF sensor?

Re: low rpm on startup

Thanks Morpheus. The idle is fine all the time, with the exception of that first 2 seconds after the first start of the day.

low rpm on startup

Hello all. been a while since I was here last. On the first start of the day, rpm drop almost to zero for about 1-2 seconds and the settles at its normal range. If I turn the truck off and start it again it starts and runs fine. Its only the first start of the day. any hints? 2006 X

Re: Spacer for suspension lift

Try National 4x4. I just had a lift and new rubber put on. I made arrangements to book a date, confirmed that date the day before. I dropped my X off in the morning and it was done at the end of day. These guys are easy to work with, just need to get everyone on the same schedule. They also sell the...

Re: Rad bypass for transmission

Just a quick question before I get my bypass done. Has anyone else done this already? any issues?
I don't tow so should I assume that I will not have any issues?
Has anyone had the dreaded rad/trans failure?
Thanks

Re: spare parts for trail runs

Thanks. As always, the reply to member questions is lighting fast on this forum..... My objective is just to put together a "small" custom box to take with me. As always, these parts are meant to be shared with those in need. I agree that space is an issue, so I'm just looking to bring som...

spare parts for trail runs

So I'm just getting my budget and mod list together for the X ,and I started thinking about what is the most commonly damaged parts when riding the trails? Since I may have access to a scrapped X I thought I could salvage the odd piece as well as keep the old parts off my truck when the mods get don...

Re: Suspension Lift help?

Hey Anesh, any luck getting that lift? I thought I would jump in on this thread with my situation. Since I'm ok with a "stock" X for the most part, I do need a bit of extra wheel well clearance for a slightly larger tire as well as the right look. My X takes me where I need to go, so the h...

Re: Rad bypass for transmission

Thanks for posting the pic Geoffrey. I have the same setup.
So even with this setup does it still run through the main rad? is the bypass still required to protect against trans failure? or does this setup already protect against that?

really appreciate the info guys.

Re: Rad bypass for transmission

Thanks again Simon. Since I'm not feeling like the sharpest tool in the shed right now. I just popped open the hood to discover a second "rad" in front of the main. Would this be my tranny cooler?( passenger side, next to the headlight) if so am I still a candidate for a tranny failure on m...

Re: Rad bypass for transmission

Thanks for the quick reply. Cheers A second question if I may? Will a 1 to 2 inch lift put any thing out of alignment/strain? My concern is the drivetrain or anything else which may suffer from the change in angles? I don't need a serious lift as I'm more for pleasure cruising off road but do really...
