Re: emissions test on my old buggy
Stupid cash grab...
It would almost be better to just wait out the 6 months, THEN go and renew your sticker.
No change in ownership or anything, so you wouldn't have to re-safety it.
You'd just be a little "late" in getting your sticker...

Re: how great is it, really?
Sometimes I wonder how "great" the outdoors really is... I mean honestly... We certainly do a lot to keep the great outdoors OUT, don't we... We have AC in the summer so we don't feel the Great Outdoors heat. Even in our vehicles... We have heat in the winter so we don't feel the Great Out...

Re: Active topics
I like the view new posts, because it shows everything that you missed while you were away, as opposed to just the posts that occured within a set period of time.
Essentially, I believe it's the same way the old board used to do it, it just looks a little different that's all.
New is good!

Re: Need a transporter
One of the best parts about being in this club is how helpfull everyone is. Living in Ottawa, I've been a benefactor of the club's willingness to help on 3 or 4 occaisions, and all I can say is Thank you once again to all those that are willing to help a fellow member out. Come to think of it, that'...

The Red stuff is near impossible to get the bolts back out...
Blue will hold everything nice and tight, but will allow you to remove the bolts when you need access anything.
Red is FOREVER...

Re: Cdn 4wd Magazine
I've had a subscription this mag for a couple of years now, and the more I read it, the more I like it. Like most mags, it has a LOT of stuff about jeeps (Jeeps are pretty popular for some reason... ), but they do a good job of covering a lot of other stuff. The last issue had Shawn's truck,...

Re: The effortless stride....
As for the Carbon theme, I like it, but I can't spend a lot of time reading it without my eyes going all wonky on me... In my defense, I spend a good amount of time on the site, so I find reading white on black can get hard on the eyes... SOOOO, all that to say that I like the new colours, but my cu...
