Haliburton County Fair posible 4x4 event?

Hello my name is Orie im new to the form but not Nissan's. I am year around resident of minden as my name says. This year at the county fair I am trying to organize a 4x4 rock crawl type of event. I am looking to see if people are interested in this type of event and any kind of input would be great. The fair is in August I think around the time of AW. I am also thinking a r.t.i. ramp would be something to do as well.

Is this the same as the Kinmount fair? If it is the same fair then it is perfect timing. AW is held every Labour Day weekend and the Kinmount fair is the same weekend. Some members head over to the fair.

No not the kinmount fair. Its in minden 2weeks befor the kinmount fair. Its at the fair grounds in minden. Witch is on the way towards the towerline trail off the bobcaygon rd. The ice races are held there in the winter as well as the kinsman truck pull.

RTI ramp, truck pull... if we're available that would be tempting.

Truck pull is on the friday night of the minden fair( a titan won last year) and the 4x4 show and rti ramp would be on the saterday. The 4x4 course would be made up of piles of rocks, logs, tires, and a steep hill climb. Im just kinda going with what i have seen at events like this on you tube. The kinmount fair has a truck pull but no 4x4 off road type show thats why im trying to start somthing like that in minden.

Could be interesting. Definitely need to look beyond just this group, to find more advanced rigs. Xterras, Pathfinders and Titans don't exactly flex...the clubs discussed how boring it would be to see our club members on an RTI ramp...so you may see good attendance from CNTC you may not see many participants.

Hello everyone just wanted to let everyone know. June 20th 28th annual truck pull and show and shine Minden fairgrouns. There is a truck pull, atv pull, atv mud bog and new this year a truck mud bog. In middle of august the haliburton fair held in minden at the fair grounds as well another truck pull and a off road log and rock and mud event it should be a good summer. Sounds cool. How did you get 35s on your frontier?

Lmaomy truck is titan swaped with fiberglass front fenders. 35" fit fine with a 1.5 wheel spacer as well the only rub in the rear when flexing hard. So far so good wheeling i crawled everware this weekend never had to spin tire at all and we went way past the poop house on the anson trail toward the 118. Im going wheeling next weekend for sure people should come up for a wheel.

Yep its got a locker only used it on a couple hill clims. I was aculy bottoming out less then my buddys jeep with 33" i was suprised.
