I mentioned this in another forum but it really belongs here. My X sometimes goes into night mode (ie - turns on headlights and dash/instrument lights) when it's sunny outside. Other times it doesn't. I can't seem to find any adjustment/setting anywhere. I've cleaned the windshield glass and the sensor itself and it still behave this way. Anyone else experience this?

I haven't but it sounds like a failing sensor. There is a mod somewhere I have seen where you can you just a toggle switch in so you can use the headlight switch manually.
