When installed we will need a full description and pictures so we will all know what we are getting ourselves into when it comes time for us. I wanted to order those to but you will have to move the cat down block the cel port and maybe, just maybe extend the 02 sensors. You should have them by next week sometime, near the end.

Is the header out to the cat in the same size or will an adapter be needed (or new cats)?

The header eliminates the first cat. After that its either you install there cel adapter so the ecu doesnt throw the mil light on or you install another cat after the header and relocate the second 02 sensor further down the pipe then cap the port for the cel adapter.

I am thinking of going the same way for my exhaust once it is rotten. By the looks of it, its gonna be a while. Are you planning on doing the entire exhaust, or is it already done cat back?

So when they install the headers on for you they will have to install free flow cats further down, relocate the 02 and remove the last two cats. :woot:

yeah the headers are on and it sounds badass the only casualty was one O2 sensor (ouch those things are expensive) as far as how I did it ......I dident i took it to the pros at thruway exhaust (or something like that) they are on Queen street in Brampton. They replaced all the studs so everything is brand spankin new. ooh and my old manifold was fubared. I will bring it out to a coffee meet at P/A some time its loud so you can hear me coming (well kinda)

cheers

If you have a buddy in the enission test department, ask if you can test out the exhaust to see the readings. I am curious.

Most of the emissions places will let you do a run on the dyno for $20-ish to see what kind of numbers you are putting down. The machine has program that allows the tech to see what kind of #'s you are putting down before doing the actual testing, so it's just a matter of finding a place that isn't busy, and bob's your uncle.

I know the place that I went to last for my test did this after I failed the first time. They wanted to see what the #'s would be after the repairs were completed.

Anyways, like John, I'm curious to see what kind of #'s it will put out as well. Doo eet!
