clutch

OK here is the issue, my clutch pedal is staying at the floor when I use it. I had the truck at a shop yesterday (for another reason) the back end of the truck was up and the tires were off, when the tires were back on I got in the truck to pull it out of the shop I put my clutch in to start the truck and the pedal stayed at the floor, there was a puddle under the driver side front tire near the back of the tire. I have checked the bleeder screw on the slave and the fluid came out when my wife pumped the pedal. Even tho the fluid is still coming out of the slave can the master still be the problem or is it the slave. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated
Nothing is wrong with the linkage under the dash.

I would really like to get this fixed by sat. night so I can go on the rookie run on sunday.

Probably the slave cylinder. It's not terribly uncommon on trucks this old.

Simon, I have now ordered the slave from part source it will be in, in the morning, here's hoping that it
works!

Just double check for leaks around the associated piping. Make sure nothing blew.

Once you get all the air out of the line the pedal will come back up nooooo problem.

I've had to replace the Slave Cylinder on 2 previous vehicles that I owned.

It wasn't overly difficult on either of them (1984 Toyota Carolla, and a 1992 Honda Civic).

Usually not to expensive either.

OK got the slave changed the pedal returns on it own now but i gravity bleed the system( which has never work well for me in the past ) so it still has a bit air in it but it does work it releases a bit lower but ill live with it for a day or two

I prefer if the clutch engages\disengages lower, closer to the floor. Mine is a bit higher so I am wondering how much clutch I have left.
