I don't get it. It's a little plastic spacer. What do I need that for?

Parked mine and started stripping it to do the floor boards, inner rockers, lift, and last few frame patches. Gonna be a long project but after this it will be done

Here is a steel one. slip this into the frame to avoid crushing it like you mentioned.

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
I need one of them for my trailer tongue! I tightened the bolt on the couple a bit too hard and noticed it starting to crush the tongue a little bit. Didn't require too much force, and I stopped once I noticed it, but still.Bow_Tied wrote:Here is a steel one. slip this into the frame to avoid crushing it like you mentioned.

Cut out the cancer in the rockers today. Bog hole(s) on passenger side. Just a little one on driver's side.
Would post pics, but camera battery dead.

Got the Heep back. It survived the winter (after a brief visual inspection) better than the X.
Looking forward to driving it again. Might spray bomb it a deep green this year. That's the beauty of old Heeps - you just spray bomb it and carry on.

Finally got a buddy to weld my nuts to make using my box easier . I mean mounting nuts to the back rack frame, and tool box removal / re-installation.
Also got my rear utility lights completed.

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Ummmmm...titan swap
Can't drive it yet, have to order new cam bolts on monday, get an alignment and bleed the brakes. Still need to do the Add A leaf in the rear.
titan upper and lower control arms. custom tie rod extensions, titan brake lines, 4" of lift, 3" wider per side, 6" over all. 1.5" wheel spacers in the rear. 35s will be here this week. Only 2wd, still haven't sourced out a titan diff. have the axle shafts but they are much easier to find.
