Sorry to rez this thread. I'm in the same boat as Casey, although I've done quite a bit of research and what no one has seemed to mention is the use of heavy duty tie-rod adjusters. https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/heavy-d ... -6361.html Idler arm brace https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/idler-a ... -p-59.html although you can find more expensive ones, this one works well. Those would be the first three things I would do to your X. After that, then I would work on protection and tires.
