Hello from Kent, England...

Post by CharlieXT »

Hello from Kent, England. Great to be a apart of the forum. I will be happy to help where I can, or suggest where there may a solution if I can't. Previous vehicles I have owned include an 110 Defender, Range Rover and Jeep Cherokee (XJ).

To cut a long story short, I had decided to replace my old RR with something a bit more modern, and reliable. I had liked the original X-Trail alot and had been impressed by it's ability for an SUV. A year and a half later the Xy is still keeping me on the trail.....

Seatoller in the Lake District last summer, a chance to give the Xy a full shake down.

Having carried out a much needed full service including replacing items such as the battery that looked like it came out of a Micra, I am now working on off road mods for the X-Trail. I taken off the bulky rear silencer, fitting a sports version, giving much better departure angles, and have several other projects on the go at the moment. I am making a skid pan to protect the vulnerable oil pan, and modifing the roof bars for trail use too.

Welcome. I figured Kent. G.B. in your info. meant that !

I was born near London, but arrived here at age 2.

For now, I certainly cheer for England in the World Cup.

Very cool to have some international members joining the club recently.

And even cooler to me, is seeing the vast array of Nissan vehicles that are being used to get people out and into the great outdoors.
