Pulled the drivers side exhaust manifold last night. I figure the dealer over torqued every manifold nut on that side, all but one took a 3' pipe on a 20" 1/2" ratchet, and all but two required extractors. :stickwack:

Pics... I'll take'm when I'm done, and maybe a picture of the pile of parts removed. For me this is more to be felt and heard then it is to be seen.

Lower ball joint on the passenger side, man she was a PITA! Also painted and mounted my taillight guards and painted my dual-battery tray. Wanted to do the idler arm bracket, but the bolts are spinning inside the frame...how the heck do you or a shop deal with that on a boxed frame?!

So knocked a few other things off the To-Do List and slowly getting the truck ready for AW as I can an can afford it. I missed it last year, and I don't plan on missing it this year!

Michel I believe the bolt heads are on the other side of the frame. If its like my wd21. ( it should be the same.) Take off the skid and you will see.

Manifolds done;
B Pipes done;
Exhaust done, less the tail pipe, and
Intake done, less the throttle body bolts.

The intake will not fit with the Throttle Body Spacer, so it's out and I'm looking for the stock (length) bolts...from 6 years ago...
Two broken studs to replace to finish the tail pipe.

He's right Michel, there are nuts on the opposite side of the frame rail that you need to get a wrench on.

Oh wow I feel like an idiot, So used to seeing nuts and studs welded inside, and the welds breaking, that I didn't think it was actually abolt that went through! I feel much better now and that I can make more progress on the truck :)

Replaced two old cheap and busted backup lights with one nice unit from PA. Nice enough I might install another on the trailer.

Retorqued the manifolds and exhaust.

Went to check up on the truck today. I'm assuming they started the work in the afternoon today. Went to check up on them, just to clarify a few things because I had a hard time hearing and understanding them over the phone. Exhaust had to be cut after the muffler and bend since it'll be in the way of the shocks new location. She might be ready tomorrow. Decided to take a pic of the droop, cause I really haven't seen what the flex is like on the truck with the new suspension...

Sweet, fab work on the new cross member looks good.

I'd be adjusting the u-bolt length on the drivers side.

I can't remember now why we didn't cut that side down when we installed them in my driveway.

We possibly ran out of time or something, I can't remember.

Fab looks good Michel, I like!

No Jay, we did cut them, we ended up having to replace the U-bolts on that side when we put in new leaf springs for my lift, but when it was all said and done, we forgot to cut the bolts, and I wasn`t in the mood to crawl under the truck in the parking lot in March to cut them, but with the nice weather, I`ve been concentrating on other things, but that is definitely on the to-do list ;)

Truck is ready, but will be picking her up tomorrow!

Truck is finally done! The owner of he shop also wanted to do an RTI test on the truck. Stored a 905, 384 front, 521 rear. He was amazed with my revolver shackles, heh.
