Premium Membership?

Post by Rhino »

Can someone answer some questions about premium membership for me?

1. I know the premium membership fee is $20 but is that a one-time charge or an annual charge?
2. What does that fee buy me?
3. How do I pay that fee? Cash? Cheque? Debit?
4. How do I get my service manual once I've paid my fee?

It is an annual fee.
I do not know all the perks with premium membership but I think it includes:
- recognition of your contribution (name is shown as a Premium Member)
- club sticker
- discount (50% I think) of the OF4WD membership (only available at the same time when club membership is renewed)
- eligibility in prizes at AW
- I think there is more room for PM's
- Posting privileges in member only areas (reader's rides, buy and sell, manuals, etc.)
- I think there still is service and parts discount through Milton Nissan (Morpheus to confirm) They are a great dealership to deal with for service.
I think there are different payment options (I take cash :D) but easiest is e-transfer funds to the club from your on-line bank account (same way you pay for t-shirts and other stuff)
Service manuals are available to download in a member's only section. The manuals have built in links so you can go through various sections; I usually open the idx file (index) to find the section I am looking for then click the link and the document opens.

Now, no more answers until you pay up :p (just kidding)

Snafu has it covered pretty well.

Officially, here is the what you get and why: http://cntc.ca/membership/ and the how to donate to the club: http://cntc.ca/membership/membership-donation/

Thank you for considering to join in the premium membership.

If you plan to off-road an affiliation with a club that is part of the OF4WD's list of recognized clubs is a great way to meet off-roaders who have a common interest and support viable long-term use of Ontario's trail system. We hope you choose a CNTC premium membership but you are also welcome to remain here and participate without that; membership is not a requirement to join in the fun. :)

Feel free to ask any additional questions.

I've just sent in my premium membership fee of $10 (since it is in the latter half of the year) via e-transfer and completed the accompanying form; I put the answer to my secret question on the form in the "additional information" box. Please let me know if you have any trouble receiving that. Once it's gone through, I assume you'll mail my sticker, upgrade me to Premium status in the forum, etc.

While I've got you, Bow_Tied, I see that you are a moderator. Can you please amend my privileges on the forum so that I can add photos to my posts? That would be easier than having to put pictures in Photo Bucket just to share them. Thank you!

I see, thanks for explaining that Morpheus.
