I've bought the 20 dollar each frame less ones (walmart) and the cheapest ones Canadian tire had. They both lasted about the same amount of time...

I've tried the forementioned ones (Reflex > Canadian Tire, Rain-X > Walmart), currently I'm trying the cheaper Costco version (Michlen I think)... all three brands wipe the same. I also increased the blade size (1" or 2" longer in the front, 1" more in the rear)

Just bought the Michelin wipers too. So far so good. :) They cost like $12.50 each.

I bought a 20 dollar wiper from Canadian Tire. I'm currently using it. It is made in china and has double blades... yes, double blades and chrome body. While it looks cool from the outside, driving it under hot sunny day forces you to wear sunglasses and position your head strategically to avoid the glare. The double blades aren't doing much good and are leaving water marks behind after three months of usage.

Prior to this, i tried the armorall from CT and I thought it was the best I've ever installed. The blades were kinda noisy, because it was so curvy and pressed against the windshield real hard. Used it for about half a year until it started to leave water marks... Has anyone ever tried the PIAA wiper blades before???

I bought the ones at costco a while ago. I didn't think they lasted that long. I had them through the winter and they just seem to fall apart. I don't think I will be buying them again. The rubber kept sliding off the ends becasue the little caps had fallen off.

I've heard the same thing happen to the pricier relex ones, a bud went through 2 sets while I was on my original set (bought before he got his) Luck of the draw I guess... but at $12, it hurts less....go costco go.
By right, any blade that last over a year is a bonus, I usually push mine for 2 years.

I used to run the ones that came out years ago on the Mx-3...I found they worked great, especially in the winter.I actually replaced just the rubber blade when they stopped selling them and replaced them for the current model. I had the blue ones cause they went with the mx-3, but they faded, so I just painted them to match the car.

I've got the Teflon covered winter blade right before this past winter. At the moment, they dion't work well and should be replaced, but In the last month or two, I've noticed the rubber is ripping off, and the drivers side one is rusting.

My buddy and dad tried the reflex, they don't work well, and the blade likes to peel off when you try to remove it from a frozen windshield.

And stay tuned for next week, when we will start a thread on how to remove that little tag that comes on pillows and mattresses, and we'll be sure to follow it up with a poll on how it's working so far...
