Wanted

My 14 year old son is scrapping old and broken computers, video game consoles, cell phones and other assorted junk to make money for collage. He pays 2 dollars for broken lappies and p.c.s and 50 cents for broken cell phones. he is recycling all the metals, If it helps pay for collage I am all for it !! I have agreed to help gather them for him, post or pm me and we will arrange pick up if possible. I think it is a great idea, but for some reason the government is scooping everything as they are no longer available at waste wise or the salvation army due to govt policy changes. I dont know where they are going but i know he cant find any any more. they have them, they just cannot sell them any more....if you have some he would appreciate the help.thanks Mike and Robert.

Wow I wrote a post and it vanished! Thanks all for the response. There is no deadline, Robert has 4 years to go for collage. He says he will take any kind of electronic scrap, even monitors. Good to hear from you Pexxy as well as you Steve. HMM i spelt Pezzy wrong but I think I will leave it. A coffee meet sounds great if it is cool with everyone! A roomfull would be great Steve... Hi all, well Robert rendered down 5 lappies and a cell phone this week and is looking for more to work on. he is doing a couple of broken video game consoles today and then he will be out of junk to scrap. A massively huge thanks to Coconut for the pick up load of junk computers. This will keep Robert busy for a few days for sure. Steve he was really impressed and looks forward to more when you have them, Once again thanks. Robert and Mike.

Glad to help. I was amazed at how much junk had accumulated at that one location. Once the word got out that we were getting rid of old PC's it didn't take long to fill a skid box.

We will keep looking at some of our other sites to see what we can do.
