K, I know what you're thinking, but it was an option that was first made aware of at my first PA coffee meet, and I've honestly like that snorkel better, for what I invision anyway. I'm sure no one has ever attempted to put a WD21 snokel on an Xterra before? If there shouldn't be a problem, than I may ask, what's the difference between:

This: (1986.5-1997)

This: (87-95)
https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfin ... p-206.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And this?: (1986-1997, 4cyl, v6 and Diesel?)

There is no difference. The first two are only separated by the different models of trucks that it fits (hardbody vs Pathfinder) and the last one is referencing all the years of the hardbody it'll fit.

There will be custom plumbing you'll have to do to work the snorkel into the airbox, but that's true of the Xterra snorkels as well.

As far as I understand the Pathfinder generation, but isn't those years of Pathfinder the Hardbody? That being the case, there should be no difference in style between all 3? There's no difference between mounting the the plumbing??

If its the v6 mpfi the intake setup is the same. Even the xterra one looks similar.

i don't think i would trust the fiberglass knock off. It doesn't even have threaded inserts molded into it for the mounting studs.

The Hardbody is the pre-Frontier Nissan pick up, that is similar in design to the WD21 (86-95 Pathfinder).

As Pezzy said, the Hardbody is the same as the WD21 Pathfinder, but ran for a longer period of time 86-97 whereas the WD21 Pathfinder only ran from 87-95.

And I agree with Nige on the fibreglass knockoff. Steer clear.

Damn, I didn't even know it was a knock off. Thanks for pointing that out!

If you are going the snorkel route, talk to Duncan (Titan Winches).

Although mine is not like the ones made for the Pathy, there's no reason why you can't make some adaptations to the ones that he sells.

The ones he sells are knock offs as well, but are ABS plastic, and not fiberglass. I was very impressed when I got mine, the molding is very good.

Sure, it took some mods to get it molded to the 1st Gen fender, but that was half the fun!
