Bump for Jay or Mike's input on the size.

But makes yuo wonder WTH would AC lists 3 different part sizes for the same model. I can understand if the thread is the same but the diameter of the centre section can differ and if so why their kits do not include the new hardware for it. Kind assinine.

I can only pull a part number and say it looks like this-251B7-004UC and shows 4 per vehicle...how does that help anyone? I guess I don't understand the question you are asking?

AC is saying that the diameter of the front leaf bolt is either 12mm or 14mm. This determines which bushing kit is supplied.

Jay measured it when the truck was in the shop (getting stellar service as usual).

14mm is the answer

Hey a friend runs Kenilworth Spring in Hamilton, give me all the specs on parts and what you need and I can probably get you a pretty good deal over what the parts places will charge you.

Too late. The order was sent. Actually not too bad over all. $290.00CAD is the price they charged for a pair of springs...without shipping and other fees to bring across the border. With bushing set, new hardware, lifted shackles, delivery is all came out to $666.60 USD (just over $600CAD).

I contacted UPS for their additional fee to bring it across the border. This is what they "estimated" it to be:
COD CHARGE $4.25 This is a UPS fee, to cover the cost of collecting the funds in this manner.
COD HST TAX $0.55 The Harmonized Tax on the COD fee.
BOND FEE $5.85 Bond fees are charges for UPS having to pay duty and/or taxes to the government on behalf of the importer.
ENTRY PREP FEE $49.70 Entry preparation charges are a fee for UPS processing the paperwork for a package to clear Customs
BROKERAGE HST $6.46 The Harmonized Tax on the Brokerage charges.
CUSTOMS HST $63.18 The Harmonized Tax on the Canadian value of the goods.
TOTAL $129.99

BTW I have a thread around here (somewhere) with the specs for stock rear springs. It would come in handy for making a set with the desired lift. I will see if I can find it.

From UPS: a brokerage COD for $125.79 CAD, has been applied to your shipment. This is fairly close to their earlier estimate. Hopefully, the invoice will give a break down of the fees and I can post them up as FYI.

Call UPS and pay it by credit card before it gets to you, it'll save you a few more bucks.

UPS charges a COD fee if they have to collect it at delivery, not if you give them a credit card by phone ahead of time.

The package arrived...woohoo! A little rough in the shipping but things look okay inside.

Think I should give them some paint (etching primer first) before installing? Any other ideas?
