Big thanks to Morpheus
Just wanted to say thanks again to Mike. For those who don't know, I was in an accident, nearly 5 weeks ago, and have been without my truck since then. From day 1, Mike has been in contact, even when the truck wasn't at "his" shop, providing advice, and options for me to get my truck back. Once all was said and done with insurance, Mike had my truck towed out of the insurance "preferred shop" and brought to his, SAME DAY, after I called him around noon.
Long story short, a week and a half later, I have my truck back, looking great, and with a few sheckles in my pocket. Insurance paid me out for the value of my truck, plus gave me my truck. I was able to get the damage fixed for less than what they gave me, and around 1/3 of the $8900 estimate provided by the insurance appraiser.
Anyways McKeown Collision in Milton did the work, and did a great job, even able to save my ARB.
Truly though, Mike went well above and beyond, even though Milton Nissan didn't even see my truck, to make sure that I got my truck back in one piece. Maybe he wouldn't go out of his way for everyone like that, but he did for me. I'm willing to bet, he'd do it for most of us here. Unless you're a total douchebag.
Thanks again buddy!

We're good. You saw us at AW, which was a couple of weeks after the accident. All is good.

Glad it all worked out Simon! Nice to have some competent people on your side when things go sideways.
Not true, Mike has helped me out several times.Simon wrote: Unless you're a total douchebag.

How could an accident do anything to a ARB Bumper. You think it would be indestructable. Also, isn't that baby due soon. Where is the thread for 'is the new Leaf fan here yet'?

Awesome.
And you made some coin. Sheesh. Only Simon can make money by T-boning a guy
As for the bumper (comment from Xkid): When you have a big ass steel bumper go into the side of another vehicle, it pulls the frame and then twists. Then it goes up into the hood. The bumper is only as strong as the things that hold it in place.
Glad you got the beast back! Just in time for the new beast...

Re: Big thanks to Morpheus
Just from all the stuff I've read on here and NPORA over the years, its definitely clear that Mike's at the kind of dealership that we all wish we had next door. Way to set the bar man.
Simon, I can only image the *sigh* you let out after the accident. I'd be pissed. Glad everyone's alright.

That's awesome, glad you and your family are ok and you got yourself back on the road. I've never had an experience at a dealership like I've had at Milton Nissan. (In a good kind of way)

We couldn't let the new addition to the club's first ride home be in a rental car, now could we...
