Big Thanks

Post by buttsy »

Not to get sappy on y'all, but I've gotta give credit where credit is due. I can't tell you how much my experiences with the club helped me drive in Costa Rica... Many roads are barely 2 lanes across (without shoulders), with: a 2ft wide and 2ft deep concrete trough on the uphill side (their version of a ditch), and an often unguarded drop of foolish proportions on the downhill side. I often found myself picking a line when I saw an oncoming truck, one that left my passenger tires RIGHT on the edge of the Tarmac (by necessity). So thanks to (in alphabetical order): Drew, Scotto, Simon, and anyone else that led a trail or otherwise gave me guidance in my offroading adventures. Sláinte mhaith y'all!

Mmm. Just thinking here: I should have lied to you on all those trails, telling you were doing great when in fact it was terrible. ;)

Sounds like a great trip. I say the above only out of jealousy.

Good post Brad. In general terms there are a lot folks on here many of whom should extend thanks to senior members for their patience in teaching the noobs. So, from me to you, THANKS!

And hopefully the students eventually become the teachers.
