Saw some Provincial Park maps at MEC last week that were made of plastic like substance. Strong and waterproof. Anybody seen these? Has anyone seen these in a regular Ontario map? Pretty cool.

You are talking about the Tyvek-like topo maps? Yes, very handy for outdoor trips, since they always seem to get wet. You can get any topo area you want in those maps. I have the French River area and Algonquin Park maps, along with a few others.

I haven't seen road maps printed on that material, however.

Backyard Mapbooks

http://www.backroadmapbooks.com/main/index.html

Are made from the same material, and they list ofsc trails on them, many of which serve dual purpose as summer 4 wheeling trails.

I have a couple of their books stashed as backup incase the GPS ever goes down.
