Although I live on the very East coast of Canada, I am a huge Edmonton Oilers fan and Edmonton Eskimos fan... and yes, still even though both teams suck.

Some of you probably know that Nissan is a major sponsor of the CFL, and I just was on the Eskimos website and came across this; "Get your season seats before December 2 and be entered to WIN a custom Eskimos Nissan Pro-4X Titan"

Unfortunately, I am not local so not able to enter ... but man I'd love to win it.... though you'd have to be a Eskies fan to drive it.

Nothing.It's just he's on the other side of the country. Is it the Wayne Gretzky thing?

Been an Oiler fan since 1984... had just moved to a new community and my first friend was an Islander fan and of course they and the Oilers were big competition and in playoffs for the Stanley... and since he was an Islanders fan I picked the Oilers to have have that friendly rivalry with my buddy (who by the way now lives in Ottawa.... so is now more Sens fan but still likes the Isles).

And have been a die-hard Oilers fan since (and Messier, not Gretzky, was my favorite Oiler... #11 is still my favorite number). Its been hard being an Oiler fan all these years living in the East especially with the 3yr time difference, many years of onbl;y seeing a handful of games a year.... but thank goodness for NHL Center Ice... and PVR's.

There's the story. Thats how fans are born. I am a Leaf fan,but Messier is one of my favourites also.Same with the number.Go figure.
