How was everyone's Sunday

Went out for a drive on some of the backroads of Southern Ontario today seen this little path going up the side of a hill and just could not resist trying it truck made it up fine only problem was it was just to slippery to try and back down so had to take the atv path out of where I was and with it being slippery lets just say tree 1... truck 0 slid the back corner right into the dang tree. All my time out on trails this year and no damage even though I still want to get sliders and better skids, just playing around today and bam. Oh well she's broke in now so there's no turning back.

Hope everyone had a great weekend

Ah, that's just a flesh wound... no sliders could keep that from happening, you'd need an exo cage.

Things happen, looks fairly minor. How bad are the actual scratches? You might get a paintless dent repair done to get rid of 80% of that with minimal cost.

How was the tree? :o

Bummer. First scratches are always painful.

Should be able to pop out the big dings. Body shop should be able to handle the rest unless you're handy.

I remember that day. Your truck slept overnight in the forest.

That was the part that had me furious Snafu the tree did not even have a scratch, it could have at least shed a little bark or a meow

It did! And I got it out using the assistance of a dozen ATVers who lifted the back end up

Well I am glad the tree is ok :p

I have used kids soccer balls or basketballs to help push out some dents. As long as they can push against something (without breaking) you slowly inflate the ball to push the dent out. Just be careful how much you inflate the balls. They are loud as cannons if they pop and can fling pieces at you.

@Butsy, I don't think I heard that story. You will have to come to AW to tell it. You are skipping the wedding right?

One simple quote and 3 little emoticons and I'm giggling for 5 minutes.

Nicely done.

Sucks about the tree damage, now you have a story to tell, and some proof that your truck sees more then asphalt though.

This is an elaborate ruse to cover packing into a tree in the LCBO parking lot!

Pull/fix the dents and leave the scratches, unless the paint has lifted.
