I have some other pics as well, I just can't remember which service they were uploaded to.

It is possible though, takes some modifications for sure, but it's doable.

Cutting the hole must be the scariest part.

Are these not designed for the X?

It comes down to price point ... the snorkel thats officially for the X is around 300-450 USD. plus shipping ?
I got a Navara d22 snorkel shipped from Australia for 170 CAD
from everything I've read the one i got fits great but the template is more than less than useful on the X

Any snorkel works if you want to make it fit. You can do something even in PVC if you're in a budget. I'm running one from a Terrano II (diesel Pathfinder).

I was thinking where you have that snorkel a jeep xj one may work as well with a little massaging. Only issue may be windshield angle.

I should check the forum more often lol. I got the same "Navara" snorkel. Template that came with the kit wasnt that acurate on the X. Had to move it back a few inches if i remember corectly.

How did you conect it to the air box?
