If you are doing the plug in test they don't lift the cat to inspect anything. They just plug into the odb2 port, scan the barcode on the door for the vin and that's it.

They are supposed to do an audial / visual check. But yeah, they wouldn’t lift the vehicle unless there was a reason like loud exhaust, missing cat/parts etc. I have used muffler cement just to co er a joke in the muffler for a test before for that reason.Drizit wrote:If you are doing the plug in test they don't lift the cat to inspect anything. Got the 2 year this year, so gtg for a bit. More trying to figure out whether I'm going to rush it and get my guy here to do it before I go, or try to get it down there after the move...Adam wrote:So wait.
