Missing Load Capacity Modification Label/FMVSS 110
Summary
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Nissan Titan, 2016 and 2018 Nissan Titan XD vehicles. Accessories installed on these vehicles reduced the load carrying capacity, however, a Load Carrying Capacity modification label was not installed, possibly allowing the vehicle to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Someone forgot to put on the sticker :o

May not affect us up here if we have different ratings for capacity.

Nothing in the Canadian market for this recall at this time, but that doesn't mean there might be one still coming.

I wonder if we use the same labels as the US product...are they bilingual...metric and imperial?

So the actual payloads may be even lower then the payload stickers installed on the Titans!?

If we had purchased the XD and this happened they would be buying the truck back. We bought, or in this case didn't buy, based on actual payload.

The problem sounds like it was in not adding the extra sticker. Specs from the show room would be correct; lower with these 'accessories'. You know how the gooberment is when it comes to getting their money for licensing.

Problem is the brochure specs were higher than the actually payload stickers. So if customers bought them on spec. and are hauling or pulling trailers to that spec. they are going to scale overweight.
