nice fish nige. Where abouts was that one caught? I've only been able to land 1 myself, but it was half the size of yours. Last summer on Rice I witnessed two guys fighting one and was talking to them later that day and buddy had put his hand down its throat :stickwack: to get the hook out I guess and it must have thrashed in the boat because his hand was wraped up with a boat load of blood soaked gause. Did you weigh it?

yes you have to watch your fingers around thier mouth. i was gonna hold him underneath the chin, but my thumb grazed a few teeth and tore up my thumb but no blood. it felt like it was about 10 lbs or so, i dunno i was shaking like a leaf since I hooked it

we got him on pigeon lake while trolling a rapala j-13 in blue and silver

I am by no means a great fisherman. I have caught a few, but here is my five-year-old with one of his many catches.
He will catch the worms, bait his own hook, cast and reel on his own. I just pull the hooks out when he lands them on the dock or into the canoe.

nice deeker, that will stay with him forever. Every kid should have the opportunity to try fishing. The will grow up to be great conservationists

I filmed one of our outings on conestoga lake last summer and edited it together. The youtubers and facebookers may have seen it already, but incase you didnt:
