Re: oil leak
Camera would be nice, but it only seems to leak while running. I think I'm going to degrease the area, then mount my gopro in there somehow, and see if that'll catch it. Pretty sure the starter is crappin' out now.... It never ends......

Re: oil leak
I thought it was tranny fluid at first, but I fixed the leaky tranny cooler line. It's definitely engine oil. It's certainly a crappy spot to try and pin point a leak....can't get a good look at anything.

Just the starter is covered, and then spreads out under that. I can't seem to track it down. Checked all hoses...

Re: decisions,,, decisions,,,
I'd tend to agree with miner. Aluminium looks better for sure, but steel is much more durable by volume, ie, steel plates can be much thinner, and less bulky. If you're going to bash the truck a fair bit, I'd use steel. The added benefit of course, is steel is cheaper. But man, I've seen some sexy l...

Where would the wood be coming from? There are some places that wood should not be removed from.

Re: Turbo
It's never that simple. Take that kit price, then triple the price, and you may get a smooth running, turboed xterra. Maybe. And that's doing all the labour yourself. The last aftermarket turbo job I saw, cost 5g's, and in the end, the motor still popped. Not really worth it. Not to mention the prem...
