Re: What did you do to your rig today?

You should keep track of how long they last in terms of km. Mine usually last around 50k and my truck is not light either, I tow a trailer frequently, and I live downtown. What brand of pads are you using? Also inspect the boot or rubber seal around the caliper piston. I have had it happen where he...

The pads on the truck typically last me 30-50k. Yes each time i do the pads i do the servicing on the guide pins ...

Re: AW outside the box

I think the primary thing needs to be more trail leaders... 100%. No matter how organized the admin/planning committee is, this is an issue - yes we can do better, but there are limits: 1) we are all on vacation so this isn't supposed to be a high pressure timetable, however I agree it would be nic...

Re: AW outside the box

I think the primary thing needs to be more trail leaders , so that trails can get started somewhat close to on time and have someone responsible for that particular group , if someone signed up and isnt at the meeting place roughly on time , then they dont go to that trail . but trail leaders are ne...

Re: Sealed alternators

Just to further this discussion , Creating a bracket to work with a different alternator is a non issue , its actually easy . Lining it up also easy as it goes in the same place as the original alternator , just with a adaptor plate for mounting it. The pully itself on the other hand i beleive the a...

Re: What did you do to your rig today?

Pics? You could get a piece of aluminum angle from HD and rivet it to the shelf at the back. Give it a bit of strength. That i did not , Every set if instructions never said anything about that , but it makes to sense to add something there to give the back end strength . i have pics , but too hung...

SMOD mod for another day :( Both Nuts that compress the Strut top hat and spring are seized on and can...
