Re: WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR PARTS ???

You need to look around. There's no "rule" as to which site/shop has the best prices, it all depends on the part you want and the timing of your purchase. Sometimes one will be cheaper, other times it's not... I have yet to find a pattern in their price fluctuations. I normally check these...

Re: Toronto-Vancouver and Back

That will be a fun trip! :) There's lots of random camping on the edge of the Rockies. I'm not sure if you're driving through HWY 3, HWY 1 or HWY 16, but most of the east foothills are considered FLUZ and they allow random camping (as well as offroading on designated trails if you're into that...). ...

Why don't you try and find a custom shop that will make the new leafs for you? I went that route a couple years back and it was much cheaper...

Re: Rock Hard Fabs XTerra Sliders

We've had a couple of guys in the Quebec club that also had issues with RHF.

Comments are usually along the same lines as the ones here: poor fitment, damaged material in transit and very poor customer service on their part.

Re: tire troubles

I used to have beads in them in the beginning, and the shaking was there. The shop actually blamed the beads for the shaking in the first place and had me pay again to get them balanced with weights. I even got a second shop to verify the work the first shop did, and they couldn't find anything wron...

Re: tire troubles

I've had the exact same issue with my Duratracs for the last 2 years. I tried everything in the book to get it fixed but I grew tired of fighting with the tire shop and now I just live with it. No need to say I will stay away from the Duratracs (and the shop I got them from) when I need a new set of...

Re: NISMO Stuff Racing at Rallye Sanair in Quebec...

Nice! A buddy of mine is also racing this series with his '86 golf. It's kinda hard to miss, it's painted shock blue! C'est Thiérry, non? I've been seeing all of his updates on Facebook. You're right, his car is hard to miss, being that it's bright blue! Yes, that's him! I've been following the bui...

^^ What he said! ^^ :teeth:

With all the time I've spent in the garage lately, the jukebox is the only reason I haven't lost my mind yet. Working on a 22 year old vehicle sure has its share of challenges!

Which reminds me I should start up a build thread on here as well...

Well, it seems he didn't escape the price hike either. $170 for the 868s and $180 for the 968s.

Sorry dude.

Re: IPF lights

I got a price of 105$ for a pair of 968s a year ago from a shop in town. I can check if that's still valid if you want. I can't see shipping being more that 20$ from Edmonton to Elora so it should save you some coin... and if you're not in a hurry and can pick them up, I'll ship them to our Cambridg...
