Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Done! Just waiting on the OF4WD code and will be updated.
We should hit up Minden before AW if you can swing it. I already plan on going to AW, booked my time off already. My son was born on August 22nd last year so was a non-starter.

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
[image][/image]My plan is for AW this year, but I need sliders before I do. I`m being picky about the style and they either don't ship to Canada or haven't gotten back to me.I'd do the Coastal ones, but I don't want the kick out.

Finally got a sway bar for the rear to run some tests to get the front to cycle more. Just need longer adjustable links. Trailer is also 85% done.
How do we donate for membership renewals? The old link is 404'd. Need to do this before renewing OF4WD!

Re: New Xterra Pro-4x Owner Has Issues
At 140k kms you are likely in need of balljoints, especially when you don't know how the previous owners used the vehicle. It is unfortunate but a lot of maintenance items are coming do and I doubt the previous owner did anything.

2015 Passenger Seat Belt Seized?
Went to take a buddy out for a spin, the passenger seat belt started pulling out fine and then stopped short of being usable. I tried yanking it, it won't budge. The seat belt won't even reach to latch with the seat vacant. Is there a good fix for this or do I need a new spring mechanism for the ...

Re: X-Trail needs a blower assembly
The X-Trail seems to be a mis-mash of a bunch of parts. I wouldn't be surprised if the blower motor came from another model. RockAuto has the motor itself listed for $35CAD.

Re: Add a leaf source
For $190 USD you can get an adjustable shackle and that is easy to install but the shipping sucks if you don't have the means to cross the border to pick it up. When your leaf pack sags (and it will) you can transfer the shackle to your new setup and/or rebuild your leaf pack at any local shop that ...

X-Trail needs a blower assembly
I've got an 06' X-trail as my winter daily with something like 156 780km on the dash. The thing is mint, but the blower motor is garbage.
I first changed it in 2017 when I first got it. I only bought the blower motor and I had to remove the old one from the blower assembly which was already damaged ...

Re: Rattle at 3k-4k RPM
The intake runner issue is apparently a separate issue. As Adam mentioned his large rant made it confusing to understand. The clarification is a couple posts down in that thread.

Re: Rattle at 3k-4k RPM
So while I will still try to diagnose the rattle by checking the heat shields, it appears another 2015 MT Xterra owner has already experienced an identical noise. It was a bad intake manifold runner valve or something. The Nissan dealer replaced the entire lower plenum. His video can be found here ...

Re: Rattle at 3k-4k RPM
If it is a heat shield, I wonder if I could get someone to knock the exhaust while I sit inside the cab and be able to replicate it? I really hope that's all it is.the x kid wrote:I those little things. I had a heat shield thing on my 03. Took it off. Done
