Indeed. It's not mounted to the bumper, but on a plate that mounts to the frame rails. Hello Everybody!
Was wondering, has anyone ever mounted a winch to a first gen xterra with the stock bumper? I don't mind cutting the bumper and making a winch fit, but I'm just looking for ideas on how to make a mount or possibly buy one?

I should be heading down to the Junkyard by next week. Worst thing that could happen is the seats won't fit and I'll just have to sell them. I'll take a good look on how the back seats look and I'll try to make some measurements. I'll try to post the process of installing them with pics!
