Re: Is My Truck F-O-R-D?

Thanks The body is OK, no rust, it has a new rad, the fuel gauge sensor has been replaced. The cheapest I could get a rebuilt here in Trenton is $3,500 plus $1,000 to put it in. I'll try the Kingston guy. Meanwhile the truck is running fine. Every once in a while it slips into a limp home mode high ...

Is My Truck F-O-R-D?

I have an 05X that has served me well for 300,000 Ks. I had the SMOD issue and have replaced the rad. Now I am faced with replacing the transmission at a cost of $5000. The Extended warranty for SMOD only covers up to 10 years or 100,000 miles, so I'm not eligible for that. What is your opinion? Is ...

Re: Hello Again

Ouch. We found one on my wife a year ago, the Napanee hospital immediately examined her and gave her a shot just in case. I'd recommend to everyone to go in if you find a tic on you...attached to you. I regularly pull them off the dog who has the run of our rural property near Napanee. There seems ...

Hello Again

I haven't ben on here in a while. I see a few names I recognize. Just an update that I am still running my '05 X with more than 300 K on it. Working good except for a service engine light that came on yesterday. Some of you may remember we were the first in Canada to drive the second gen model in 05...

Re: Trailer Running Lights Out

Heck I sent the wife out to pull the fuses. The new X only has two rows of fuses. The one in question is the fifth from the bottom-- a 15a-- in the left hand row. It appears to be just for the trailer running lights as both the headlights and parking lights are working. Good job dear Thanks for taki...

Re: Trailer Running Lights Out

Thanks Jayman. That's likely the fuse. However they aren't numbered in the fuse panel. Is there a diagram that shows where Fuse no 22 is. I can't find it. Also is that in the cabin fuse box or the one under the hood.
Thanks again

Trailer Running Lights Out

Hy Guys and Gals:

Small problem. I shorted out my trailer running lights while changing a bulb on my skidoo trailer. Appparently I blew the fuse but I cant find it anywhere on the fuse panel. Anyone know which fuse the running lights are connected to'? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Stan

Wonky Fuel Guage

Hi Guys and Gals: I've had very few problems with my Gen2 X. Now I have a fuel gauge problem. my sending unit apprently is sticking, causing my service engine light to come on. The gauge doesn't register until I am down about one-quarter tank. It works OK for the bottom three-quaerters of a tank. Wh...
