Instead of using paracord a lot of cordage used while setting up camp can be done with either bank line or twine. Driver's side window

I have a 2005 crew cab Frontier Nismo
For some reason when I use the power window switch the window will only go all the way down or all the way up.
I cannot get the window to stop in any other position other than all the way up or down.
Any suggestions
