ask to see the receipts of the work he says he did. don't trust him. price seems high. low ball and see what he says.
this safety check of $3500 seems real sketchy to me. what the fark is he going to do for 700 bucks.

Saw the show on the VW Beatle going aroung the world 3 times and the car is still on the road today. Good story. Not sure how he did it , no 4x4, no paved roads, and he did 3x.

I have been on it, last time I checked west and south entrances are blocked. East entrance not passible unless your running 40's. The only way I got in was from the north entrance. It is a small trail nothing challenging about it.

Leave the nut on, but loose on the ball joint when using the separator.

That is the tool I could have used.

I have the forks , banged at it for half an hour and gave up. I need a bigger fuking hammer.
Then if the thing does pop I am assuming the outer tie rod is also seized on the inner rod. It is just a fuucked up mess.
