Re: Truck newbie has questions

Don't mind Kremit; meds have random impact. :P Remind me not to really provoke him with something like "Good morning!" Or, hey - don't provoke HER by making gender assumptions ... :fawk: Just like Bow_Tied shouldn't assume I'm actually taking my meds ... :teeth:

Re: Member Spotting

Thought I saw Kremit Friday getting on the 401. Nope. I guess she is not the only one with the Kermit green in London. The green ones are like unicorns. I saw one in Borden at the Trillium Trail once, but it disappeared after that. Very elusive. I'd love to ask the owners if they realize how uncomm...

I'll be going one year, but I'm waiting until my rig is more modified - sliders, better AT tires, etc.

Re: Member Spotting

Spotted a lifted, modded 1st gen X - in YELLOW - driven by a tall man in a skirt @ the Embro Highland Games... :teeth: Just saw this. Yup. I was competing at the games. They parking lot guy told me to park in the ditch, as they were running out of flat-surface parking spaces, and he figured the tru...

Re: What did you do to your rig today?

Installed rear recovery brackets. Overall, it went fairly smoothly, with the usual snags and subsequent employment of both profanities and the BFH... :teeth: Most of the work was thanks to my good buddy Steve (he had all the tools, space and skills), but I did help when/where I could, and definitely...

Re: Member Spotting

I tried to chase down the owner of this X, but she turned near Cherryhill Mall on Oxford last week. I didn't hear any squeeling or cursing from the driver so maybe that only happens when she's offroading?? http://i388.photobucket.com/albums/oo330/deekerG4/Off-road%20Pictures/2013-05-17142639_zpsaea...

Re: Need somehelp naming my business

I was going to say something similar, Kremit. You know, as a guy that teaches English when not teaching Art. Technically, "Robbs" ought to be "Robb's." It's a possessive thing. If there are a bunch of you named Robb, then Robbs'. Like Kremit said, "everyday" ought to b...

Re: 12 years!

Well Kermit, no worries, a Trail Green one is not in the cards :(. Apparently they have a metallic blue one so that is what I am going with! I'm still not counting any chickens until they hatch though....hopefully the story has a happy ending and I have a new X by the end of the month! I'm sorry, y...

Re: Need somehelp naming my business

Back side of the card http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/5374/robbsroofingback.jpg I hate to be the grammar nazi, but ...everything else is so well articulated that this one little thing stood out: the use of 'everyday' in the first sentence. Technically, the correct usage in this context would be 'e...

Just out of curiosity - what trim level and colour did you go with for the new X...? :) Good question!
