Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Good lord you weren't kidding. I had to replace my front tires just before AW and it cost $400 PER TIRE for 33s. Cooper STT Pro. Paid almost half that the year before. Been looking at these, as well as the Cooper Evolutions. How do you like them? Did you consider the Evolutions? These ones? https:/...

Do you have a lordco near you? I had good luck with them when I was out there.
Never heard of that brand before, assuming they're from NPP they are used?

Re: New Member from the Fraser Valley
Welcome! I assume by your username you're a HAM operator? There's a few members here that are also into that. Unfortunate about the xterra, but hopefully the frontier serves you well. Other than the SMOD and timing chain problems of the early 2nd gens they are pretty reliable vehicles. I know of sev...

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Most recently I had my transmission repaired. The part of the casing where the mount bolts to it had snapped off. The aluminum looked like cocaine all around it. Sourced a clean southern US part and dropped it off at a shop my friend recommended. They had to pull the t-case, driveshafts, etc. But th...

Nope, but I want to. My fondness for 80s and 90s Nissan trucks will never die. Will always have to have at least one in the fleet.

You can get it at canadian tire (some stores have it) or Partsource. It's pricey but it does actually work.
Just got a few cants of eastwood internal frame coating for the pathfinder. Gotta keep that baby solid!

I'd sure love to see it sometime. Definitely bring it out to a coffee meet when we're allowed to have those again.

Did you get the engine replaced? I have a couple of VG30s laying around if you need one. But I am in Ottawa. Mileage is on the higher side but they both ran well (truck being parted out).
Post up some pics! Those are still my favourite of Japanese trucks.

POR15 says you should top coat it because UV rays will degrade it, I know they're under the truck but knowing my luck it'll still find a way to happen.Bow_Tied wrote:Why the bedliner coat?

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
They tend to sound better when they have oil :P I got my light cage from P&P engineering, had to organize a group buy of 20 people to get them to produce it again. Took almost a year but the turnaround once they started production was only a few weeks. Will look like this once I get it painted: ...

POR15 works well. I'm currently stripping mine to apply POR and then some bedliner as a top coat. It'll get scraped off the first ride down concession, I'm sure lol.
