Re: Member Spotting

Spotted black X heading north on Trafalgar road towards Hillburgh/Erin (north of Georgetown). No roof rack. I think it was lifted. Mutual waves but not sure who you were.

Also spotted a Titan XD. SL trim level no less!

Re: MAF Sensor

Are the readings taken from the ODB or from measuring voltage at the plug?

Re: What did you do to your rig today?

I went down to Ted's after AW to thank him and to buy mount and cable. He did not have the mount I was looking for. I think one of the Ottawa guys has a mount I could use but I cannot remember who it was or where it was from.

LOL...that link lists all the parts from 'Hustler'. I did the same when I was browsing the site last night.

This is the quick connect listed: https://www.radioworld.ca/hus-qd2

Thanks for the tips

Re: What did you do to your rig today?

Mag mount in the center of the hood, go full unicorn ;) It's actually an excellent spot preformance wise. Where can you pick up a mag mount? Searching for CB stores is about a 2 hour drive anywhere near me :o I do not mind going unicorn on the trials. Around town might be a different story...unless...

Re: What did you do to your rig today?

I dunno. Looks like it could last another season...lol

Cleaned the interior of spilt stuff and dirt. Only lasted a day before sand from the beach got in.

Pondering where to mount the CB antenna and where to get adjustable mounts.

Re: New vehicle

I seen one at the dealer looked nice but not sure if another mid-size suv in the line up is necessary. Perhaps to feed the sheeple's interests?

Drive train fluids

Curious to hear what fluids people use in their 2nd gen. FSM calls for the following: Front diff : 0.85 L of 80w90: does it run that much hotter to need the extra 5w or can the rear diff fluid be used? Rear diff (c200) : 1.6 L of 75w90 Transfer case : 2.0 L of Genuine NISSAN Matic D ATF for continen...

Re: MAF Sensor

Nissan and Ford both have a MAF sensor that has a set reading to be able to determine whether there is an electrical connection at key on, engine off. That's just telling you that the electrical circuit is complete and that the sensor is operating. That circuit needs a voltage check at varying thro...

^ Presuming the engine will run somewhat normally with the MAF unplugged.

Specs should be around the net somewhere.

Re: MAF Sensor

If all the connections are good then testing for continuity would be a good approach but a pain. Is there just the connection at the sensor then at the ecu or is there anything in between? How much is a new sensor or pull one from a yard? If it is not much then might be worth putting one in and seei...
