Re: Add a leaf source
you could try carrier spring from BC not sure if they have add a leaf's or just full packs. As for direct canadian suppliers they are far and few between. I would if you can get it from a local spring shop (Like KW Spring which is close to where i am) or take the hit and order it from the US. I've h...

Re: Did something fall off my X?
What would be the best most cost effective way to achieve a 2" lift? Extended shackles. If you touch the leaf pack then you may need new U-bolts as they are (or should be) cut to length one installed. If the new leaf pack (ex. higher arch) is the same thickness then you may get away without ne...

Re: Considering purchase of 2014 X
for the mod you usually pull the spring loaded cap off the breather so it acts better than normal. The main problem with the current breather is the cap gets stuck and doesn't work properly once it is dirty or clogged. If you do the extention mod there is no cap on it to get stuck any more.

Re: Did something fall off my X?
Ok from the back i'd check your springs for a crack. i'd also check the sway bar mount points and end links. and to be thorough i would check your ubolts that go around the axle from the springs i have heard of them snapping.

Re: Did something fall off my X?
no spring stiffeners from the factory. Where did the sound come from (i am assuming the back because you were looked at the leaves). I would check sway bar end links, or even a cracked leaf. Any other things in the rear end would have been a big fail and you'd notice them immediately.

Re: Considering purchase of 2014 X
yeh my heated seats in my Frontier are slow to warm as for the slow shifting it a wheel speed sensor dependent and if there is any kind of bind in the front driveshaft it won't come out of 4Hi until there isn't any. Next time try swinging the wheel left to right a bit.

Nice i actually don't run a radio in the Frontier. I do run a 2m+70cm in the X terra soon to upgrade to a ICOM 706 to open up 2m- through 6M with a screwdriver antenna and tuner on the back. that's the project for this summer.
