Washer fluid... PFFT! A few snowball do the trick for me! LOL! Sherri ain't a big fan of it though but oddly enough cause every time I do that, she just so happens to be coming towards the truck and she gets hit with a few pieces of ricochet'd snowball.

Re: Xterra gas consume
I now make an effort to plan longer trips doing what I do with my truck for fuel effeciency. Last weekend I was able to make a 100km trip towing 2000lbs in an hour and a half while getting 14.1L/100km on that leg. I have never been so impressed with myself lol. That must have been all downhill! LOL...

Re: Cross Border Tire shopping
That's what we've always done. I've known guys that have taken advantage of a rim/tire combo deal they often offer at Discount Tire Co. He drove over to Detroit on four donuts and came back with some bling rims and rubber.the x kid wrote:Can't you just put them on there and drive back.Nobody will know.

Although supporting Jayman in the fact that removing the fuse isn't a wise idea, couldn't it fall under the same routine as airing down/up your tires before/after wheeling?

I know if we had them on our Xterra, it would be the very first thing I would list on a mod list cause you know it is that very first thing that makes a person read item #2!

LOL No worries. I wish I was a fire watcher up north!!! But no sadly. Sherri and I hike to the decommissioned firetowers up north and climb them and take pictures. Some people travel to see the seven wonders of the world. Some people travel the oceans blue. Sherri and I - we travel to firetowers. it...

It's FIRETOWER! sheesh! But I guess your guesses are better than some that I've heard. Some thought it was "fly tower" other thought I was a sunfire tow truck driver. FYRTOWR is actually my license plate on our other car as well.

Re: Axes and shovels
Pfft... rookies! I used to use an axe but I bought a chainsaw. I sold my previous axe to this guy. He was a nice guy and I snapped this picture as he was walking away. http://sammydvintage.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/lumberjack.jpg This is the chainsaw that replaced that axe I had shown above. It...

Re: New recall - steering
If you check that plaque on the door there, it should state the month and year your car was manufactured. I'm not sure if the dealership looks at this or just simple runs the VIN number to see if it is part of the recall.Snafu wrote:So those manufactured before are hunky-dorey...good for me, I think.
