Re: Anyone else running stock.

Kinda went the same lines as Jayman... - removed step rails and mud flaps - sliders Did hydroline, hit some underwater rocks... - PML - new 31" MT's - engine skid to protect the oil pan Wheeled some more, with more confidence... - 3" lift - more skids - 33" tires Wheel with no fear no...

Re: Anyone else running stock.

My truck is also mostly stock....

- most of the body panels are stock
- most of the interior is stock
- most of the drive-train is stock
- most of the electrical is stock
- most of the paint is stock

I've added a few bits and pieces here and there, but it is still mostly stock

Re: rocker guard

My personal opinion is that if you were to sell it in the future, you would still get more for the truck full of scratches and rust than a rocker guard paint job. Although you may like it, and you may find others that do too, I am thinking that the majority of people won't take to it, and resale val...

Re: wheeling / coffee in the kawartha's

Yeah, Concession Lake is a good trail; I really like it and figured there has got to be others like it in the area that are wide enough for our trucks. Seems like there are more ATV trails than truck trails.

Re: wheeling / coffee in the kawartha's

Would be interested in hearing more about the trails around them there Kawartha's. I like those types of trails (not the ATV ones though, they're a little narrow)

Re: sway away torsion bars

They never said anything about sending the old ones back. They just wanted proof of purchase (copy of invoice) and a couple of pictures showing the condition, and they approved my request for a warranty replacement. Still haven't gotten the new ones yet; they said it may be 3-4 weeks before being sh...

All the powder coating peeled off of one of mine within the first two weeks. I contacted sway-away, and they are sending me a new set. The other one is peeling now.

Re: mid skid plate project is started

I wish your theory was my reality when I was building my skids. I would definitely trade my 70 lbs of steel skids for your 25 lbs of aluminum skids if it cost the same $$$. I can't complain though, I got two skids bent up to my specs for less than $100 combined.

Re: mid skid plate project is started

As for the price of alu, like any metal it goes by weight... It's about 3X more than steel, but weight 3X less.... you do the math :-) S. I guess I'm not good in math...even though aluminum weighs a third as much as steel, it is still three times as expensive in the end. It may be sold by weight, b...

Re: P0300 Random Misfire Code

I had a 0306 (misfire on cylinder 6) about this time last year. Nissan techs here in town suggested a few things including a fuel injector service. Before breaking down and getting them to clean the fuel injectors, I poured a can of seafoam in with the fuel, and let the engine inhale some more seafo...

That included everything. L&N Stainless Exhaust It is two old guys in a rickety old building just outside of Brantford that deals in custom stainless exhaust; been doing it for over 30 years. The only 'production' exhaust pieces that they make are for Zamboni's; apparently all exhausts on Zambon...
