Re: Minden Hydro Lines
If youve never done it before I'd be warty of the spot already mentioned along the rock wall water crossing. I've only seen pics of trucks that have gone off, but stick close to the wall and you'll be ok. Hip waders perhaps to poke and prod around those water spots. I've seen stock vechiles in there...

Re: 2nd Gen Input T-Case oil seal
Tryed a search on CF for ya, but came up with nothing :( You might have a better chance yourself as the search isn't the greatest. I'd have to guess its probably 150-200lbs. When I pulled the tranny years back I had the transfer case attached and that baby was a beast to lift. Good luck and maybe po...

Re: Home-made wheel/tire sizing tool
I hate trying to figure out offsets and such. Forgive me, but I'm assuming the rulers are set at a specific crosshairs to each other to get a offset number? I see the vertical ruler is set at 6" on the horizontle. Would this be for tire width perhaps? Just askin cause like unsaid I can never fi...

Re: Terrano Snorkel and Volant Intake
For your "t" idea...I use a plumbers plug for the lower air scoop thingie. I remove the scoop and leave the 2"+/- rubber coupling on the housing of the air box and insert the plumbers plug and cinch down. It works really well, but would it be cool with a electric one? Heck ya it would...

Re: Terrano Snorkel and Volant Intake
Damm that's some great ingenuity. Very nice job on the colour match, looks bang on. Kinda of a tip or idea....I ditched the Phillips head screws to access the filter and threaded in little 1/4" pieces of threaded rod with some loctight into those brass bushings and use some wing nuts threaded o...

Spotted a burgundy jeep with what I thought was a Snafu zombie permit sticker on the 403 the other day.

In the past I've just used a rustoleum paint and it held up for many years. I was surprised actually. Good to hear the balls rolling on your calliper woes.

Re: White noise?
The antenna and light power are far enough away...I'd think. Antenna is a magnet mount on the cab and the antenna wire is run through the 3rd brake light, over the head liner down the driver side a pillar, under the dash to the cb. Ground for the cb is behind the cb less than a foot away. Power for ...

Re: White noise?
Thanks Buttsy I'll have a look into that. The lights themselves are BlitzPro and there of the 6" long bar type variety. Kinda the BarginHarolds of LED bars, but they work, are bright and haven't had water issues in over a year.

Re: White noise?
Tried the ground to body trick with no different results Fronty Flyer. On the other hand I did post up in another fourm after someone had posted up the exact same white noise question and it seems to do with LED lights the root cause of the problem. I don't know the specifics, but googled the same t...
