Hi from Guelph

Post by LGM »

Good Morning,

I found your site from following Pezzy's sig from another nissan site. Was happy to see there is a Canadian group of Nissan owners. I am on my second Pathfinder, my first one being an '87. I loved that beast. :cry:

Now I drive a '98 Pathfinder Chilkoot (btw, can anyone tell me what's different with the Chilkoot model over any of the other models, next to the pinstriping art and sticker inside??). Everything is stock but I am hoping to slowly make a decent trail rig out of her. Not sure what options I have tho, so don't mind me when I bug you guys for help! :happydance:
I just bought it off of my girlfriend, when she picked up her 2006 Pathfinder LE (sweet rig! loaded!). She wont let me take her new truck offroad tho :crazy:

Anyways, hope to wheel with yawl next season!

:thumbup:

Hey there, welcome to CNTC!

The Chilkoot model is basically an XE (base model) with a few popular options added, and it was a Canadian only model.

TAKE THAT BENDER!! (He thinks I steal everyone from here and send them to NPORA)

Welcome to the CNTC!!

I believe the Chilkoot has a few toys & upgrades the XE doesnt (I have an XE)... sunroof, fenderflares??? Really, it's all about the sticker. They add HP you know. :lol:

There are a few things you can do to your pathy to build it up, (lift, protection, tires) however not a lot of different options, as the # of suppliers we have are limited.

I dont think we have ever found a clear understanding of the differences between the trimlines....

Here's a thread where we attempted to compare: http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showtopic=6574" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
