Well where can I start. I figure Its time for me to do my intro once again since there are a lot of newbies.

The X was bought in April of 06. Since my done up 93Suzuki Swift Gti(built it from the ground up) was nailed from the rear end by a drunk driver. I thought to myself time to get something bigger and not 2 inches away from the ground. After getting the truck I went on myspace and a friend of mine from the states said there was a club in ontario called SOXC. I checked it out but the website was locked but I found a link to NTC. So now I am here .Its been a lot of fun. She was a sweet ride.

The truck is running good. I took out all the carpeting pressure washed and applied mango terminator spray. Also washed down the floor as well. Looks brand spanking new. Also on the plus side I relocated my ECU. Hows yours if you dont mind mefor askin.

I think my alternator might be going. I am not 100 % sure.

What makes you think that? If you see mud in it, clean it out and get an avr test done on it to see the amperage and performance of the rectifiers.

I got to check it and test it. It was squealing like pig for 15 min after i washed the engine then it stoped. Voltmeter shows anywhere from 12.4 13.2 14.4

Did you direct the water right at the belts? I f you did the water can also cause the squeal until the water is cleared from the pulleys and belts. You might also have the tensioner pulley problem that exists with the new X's. Damir had the problem last year. I think he got his tensioner pulley replaced.

Mud is more destructive then water. Remember that there is little pieces of rocks l that will act like sand paper and can cut away and cause scor marks. Remember that squeaking you heard on the trail? That was small specs of rocks (grit) in between the pad and rotor or the backing plate and rotor causing that squeak. Sometimes when the specs are big it can cause a nasty groove.
