Re: Suspension Lift Kit
Oh yeah, it's the Canadian Grand Prix is on Sunday.
Well, if you can haul that 36" tube out to the garage and back, without damaging it or my property, go for it. Otherwise we'll have to borrow something smaller.
I have an idea, let's order a 42" LCD from Future Shop and then return it later.
We'll just put it on your credit card.

You are smart if you believe only one half of what you hear. You're a genius if you know which half that should be.

Re: Suspension Lift Kit
On Sunday, I'm going to get an early start. You can arrive anytime you like.
Oh, I'll have beer and hotdogs for lunch as well. Maybe burgers for later...and more beer.

I'm outside right now trying to clear a load of top soil off my driveway, getting ready for the weekend and I'm just dying out there.

Re: Suspension Lift Kit
I had to post this for the F1 fans. Here's my younger brother Ian on friday afternoon:X-Treme wrote:Oh yeah, it's the Canadian Grand Prix is on Sunday.
I used to make fun of him for that vodafone shirt, but i guess it paid for itself that day. Security must've thought he was one of the McLaren crew so they didn't even bother him as he was meandering around the track and pits
I guess Sebastian Vettel was hitting on his girlfriend too

Re: Suspension Lift Kit
The rear is complete! Well, except for the brake lines which will be done last.
Not as easy as I thought. It didn't help that I didn't have a c-clamp to compress the rear leaf springs together. In the end I used the coil spring compressor to do it. Did you know that you could use them for that? The longer rear shocks also necessitated disconnecting the anti-sway bar to install. An extra step that was not anticipated. No big deal though.
Sorry there are no pictures. My hands were constantly full of grease and grime so there was no way I was going to handle the camera with them. And thanks to Damir for showing up. It made the other side go a lot faster.
I will have comparison pictures of my truck next to Damir's which is still fully stock. Of course, that won't be for long either.

Re: Suspension Lift Kit
We didn't do them. We thought it was better to do it with the correct wrench rather than risk stripping the nut.weerd 1 wrote:what time did you get the brake lines finished
