I picked up a set of these refubrished cobra radios:



they are pretty much half of what everyone else is asking for them @ $44. They even have $9 2-year warranties through the store. The weather channels come in great, plus they're camo! so it's easy to find when you drop it in the grass

mine work fine, but i have yet to try some long distance calls with them. I doubt they will go 45km as advertised
they have a few other models up for sale too. I bought mine last weekend and they had stacks of them at my store. they have locations in ontario only, but they might do mail order if you ask them.

They will probably do 45km if your in a boat and your freind is 45 kms away in another boat....on the same lake.

yea i have a set of those i get about 1-2 km out of them in the forest, we use them for hunting and fishing and long drives (he doesnt have a cb)
