Anudder new guy....
Hey guys, googling around and found this forum.
I'm in New Brunswick, and I just bought a brand new (to me) 2005 XTerra in pretty darn good shape.
I actually wanted a Frontier, the other half wanted a SUV, so the X was the compromise. I don't really need a truck, but I hunt and fish, so I need something I can take deep in to the woods and not worry about getting stuck.
I do know my first upgrade is going to new tires. The BFG Rugged Trail is obviously not much of a mud tire! I'll probably use the BFG during the winter, and upgrade the tires before next hunting season.
BTW, I'm long in the tooth, closer to 60 than 50, and I doubt I'll be doing any major suspension upgrades. I drive 85-90% of the time on gravel or paved roads. When I hunt, i normally go down old beat up logging roads, so I don't need much of a suspension lift, if any.
Any way, I'm glad to be here, and hope to pick up some pointers on the X!

I have án '05 and its still going strong with 170 K This truck will serve you well on the hunting trails without modifications.
Lots of help on this site for problems and questions. Here is a big U.S. site devoted to the newer Xs if you want to chek it out as well.

Oh man. I'm sorry you found this forum.
I suggest you erase your web history, delete all files, and go see a hypnotist to forget about this place.

Hey Lance, welcome to the club! By the way, Nismo is not a grandfather and he does not live in Bathurst.
