There's some extra material for proper adjustment of the arm that links the opener to the door; half a minute with a cutoff disc and there will be enough clearance. The other side has been clearanced already, but I haven't pulled it in or out of that side post lift, so I have to see if it has been clearanced enough.

I'll take some pix after work tonight and post them up. The truck is in getting an alignment today, so lets hope there is some light left after I get it home.

...and yes Dave, I did really pinstripe those wheels red pinstriping. Stock steel Xterra wheels, painted black with red (and silver) pinstripes. I have a lot of time on my hands. :rasp:

Pete,

Your truck looks great man!! I really like your new back bumper. I can't believe how much that opens up the departure angle. Sorry man, I may have to copy you on that one or at least find something that's gonna get the same results. Did they give you a pull rating with that hitch?

Its supposed to be equivalent to a class III hitch (5000 lbs). Even if it isn't rated at that, that's fine, the truck only has a 3500 lb towing capacity. Yeah, it has a great departure angle.

Not Bender built; it was an in-stock part from AC, manufactured by Skid Row, shipped to just across the border, and picked up by me.

It has provisions for a swing arm, which may or may not be Bender built, Bender advised or Bender approved, with the possibly of lowridah313 elements. We'll see.

That looks so great! love the height your new bumper gives. The very first time I ever went wheeling we followed you. We watched you bang that old hitch off of everything. And we used your truck as a guide, ie. if he can make it we sure can... not anymore! two thumbs up!
