Actually - it is just that arm that we have on the roof of the Xterra, not the entire machine.

It's FIRETOWER! sheesh! But I guess your guesses are better than some that I've heard. Some thought it was "fly tower" other thought I was a sunfire tow truck driver. FYRTOWR is actually my license plate on our other car as well.

LOL No worries. I wish I was a fire watcher up north!!! But no sadly. Sherri and I hike to the decommissioned firetowers up north and climb them and take pictures. Some people travel to see the seven wonders of the world. Some people travel the oceans blue. Sherri and I - we travel to firetowers.
it also makes for interesting conversation when we cross the border. They ALWAYS ask what the license plate means. The majority think that I'm a firefighter. LOL
